 Expert Bio

Luxury cruises, tours and adventure travel are my forte. I enjoy the challenge of booking individual Around the World itineraries.  On any given day I’ll be helping clients arrange World Cruises and then the next be planning ‘out of ordinary’ experiences for other clients. If you’re interested in training with a private guide to climb the Matterhorn, visiting a tribal chief in the wilds of New Guinea, or fishing for Bonefish on Christmas Island, I’m your person.

My 36 year career includes being a CTC, the highest accreditation in my field. Like my partners and staff, I pride myself with my personalized service that I bestow on my clients.

 My Recent Trips:

I just returned from a whirlwind journey to British Columbia and Alberta, Canada, that included visiting Tofino (Vancouver Island), located on the edge of the  Pacific Rim National Park and stayed at the beautiful Wickaninnish Inn. I also experienced camping with black bears at the Clayoquot Wilderness Retreat, my most unique outdoor adventure yet!

My husband and I, along with some clients, then traveled on the Rocky Mountaineer Train from Vancouver to Jasper. The luxury domed train ride was a wonderful way to view the majestic Canadian Rockies. Once in Jasper and renting a car, I was amazed at the beauty on the drive on the Icefields Parkway to Banff and strongly suggest it to everyone. The next week was spent exploring the Banff and Lake Louise area and I came back with another scrapbook filled with photos of wildlife, stories of fly fishing, a list of sites and activities not to miss and a pocketful of names to great restaurants.

Galapagos in 2007 was a dream come true, as it was high on my wish list.  Imagine having to walk around sea lions, seeing giant tortoises in the wild and snorkeling with penguins! I highly suggest this trip for families and animal lovers, it’s a once in your lifetime experience.

Alaska is my true love, being there in 2005 & 2006 and already planning to take another group for 2009.  Cruising aboard the RSSC Mariner is my favorite way to see the sights plus visiting Talkeetna, which offers the best view of Mt. McKinley, and of course spending time in Denali National Park.
